Description

Events Calendar Pro runs alongside The Events Calendar and enhances it with extra features, including recurring events, additional calendar views, calendar shortcodes, advanced widgets, custom event fields and more. The PRO add-on also enables the use of the calendar shortcode or widget on any page other than the default events page.

When to Use The Events Calendar Pro

Use The Events Calendar PRO plugin when a customer would like a calendar displayed on their site with a directory of all events added.

Installation

Go to: GD Core > Plugins > Events Calendar Pro > install

Functionality Path:

NOTE: By default, the events page is an archive and should be built/modified using an archive themer layout as opposed to a page.

WP Rocket Requirements

Please Note: These settings assume the website is using the default slugs for Events pages. If those slugs have been changed, they will need to be used in place of the default slugs listed below.

From the dashboard navigate to:
Settings -> WP Rocket -> Advanced Rules

Add the following in the “Never Cache URL(s)” field:

```

Next go to the File Optimization tab:
Settings -> WP Rocket -> File Optimization

Add the following to all “Excluded CSS Files” fields (if active):

/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/(.*).css
```
Add the following to all “Excluded JavaScript Files” fields (if active):
```
/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/(.*).js
```

IMPORTANT: If the customer is using this plugin, they are likely using other plugins from the Events suite of plugins (ex: The Events Calendar Pro). Each of those plugins has files that must be included as well, so if the site has additional Events plugins, please be sure these files are excluded as well:
