What we can do
The settings below are included in the plugin’s Free version that we can manipulate if needed. Method Title: Name the shipping method. This will be visible to customers. Enable Debug Mode: If debug mode is enabled, the shipping method will be activated just for the administrator. The debug mode will display all the debugging data at the cart and the checkout pages. The debug mode is an excellent tool to test out the plugin’s settings and shipping prices as the plugin will be only activated for you (the user). Default Package Size and Weight: This option allows you to set a default weight and dimensions of your product to calculate the shipping fees in case the product’s information are missing. Use this feature if you didn’t set the size dimensions or product weight in the “Add New Product” page, if you don’t want to add weight and dimensions for all of the products you have, or if you missed adding this information to one product. Selecting First / Second Class Parcel Size: Select the parcel size you’d like to use for calculating the price of First and Second class parcels. If you select “Small”, then the “Small Parcel” price will be used up until 2kg. After 2kg the medium parcel price will always be used. Domestic Parcel Options: Four types of domestic shipping options are supported. You can anytime, disable/enable one or all of these options.
What we cannot do:
The settings we do not have access to in the free version are listed below. So, if a customer asks for any of these items, they may need to upgrade to pro by purchasing it on their own.
- Option to charge handling fees
- Enable/disable up to 12 domestic shipping and support for international shipping options
- ParcelForce support
- Option to return all rates or display the cheapest options only
- Option to remove the tax value from shipping prices
